Headwaters MB advised Quala-Die, Inc. (the “Company”), a recognized leader in the design, engineering and production of powder metal compaction tooling and precision machining, to Penn United Technologies, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1978, Quala-Die is headquartered in St. Marys, PA. With approximately 95 employees, Quala-Die specializes in the design and manufacturing of tool and die sets for “net shape” or “near-net shape” precision powdered metal and ceramic components. The Company will continue to operate in St.Marys under the strong stewardship of Richard and Dennis Schatz and their seasoned management team.
